Overview

As a Construction Worker, you’ll support construction projects through hands-on site work, paving tasks, and protected, coordinated teamwork. You’ll follow directions, use tools and equipment suited to assigned tasks, and help keep work areas organized. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to visible project progress while building practical skills alongside an experienced crew.

Responsibilities

- Prepare work areas and materials for construction and paving activities, keeping tools and supplies organized.
- Assist with paving tasks, including moving materials and supporting the crew through each stage of the work.
- Operate heavy equipment when assigned and appropriate, following site procedures and coordinating with nearby workers.
- Maintain orderly work areas and communicate task progress or concerns to the crew.

Qualifications

Required: Practical ability to follow directions, work safely around tools and equipment, stay organized, and coordinate with a construction crew is important for completing assigned tasks. Preferred: Construction experience is an advantage, as are familiarity with paving work and heavy equipment operation; these strengths can help you contribute confidently to varied site activities and support the team’s progress.

Pay: $18.14-$35.00 per hour
