Leading the development and review of key strategic and statutory documents, including the Long-Term Plan (LTP), Annual Plan, Annual Report, Pre-Election Report, and Local Governance Statement. Providing high-quality strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team, elected members, and Council staff on planning, policy, governance, and legislative matters.

Coordinating corporate performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting to support informed decision-making. Facilitating meaningful community engagement and consultation processes that help shape Council priorities and outcomes. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across planning, reporting, and organisational performance frameworks.

Leading and contributing to strategic initiatives, local government reform programmes, organisational improvement projects, and other special projects that support Council's long-term vision and future service delivery. Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate planning, policy, strategic planning, public policy, or a related field. Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 5+ years' experience in local government or a similar public sector environment.

Advanced knowledge of public policy and legislative processes.
