Position: Data Governance Lead

Location: Toronto, On

Role Description The Data Governance Lead is responsible for driving and coordinating execution of the data management activities necessary to enable the Data Sponsor to fulfill their accountabilities under the Enterprise Data Management Standard.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Risk Management, or Information Management.
- Robust knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
- Experience implementing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) programs and operating models.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives within large, complex organizations.
- Experience developing governance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing regulatory, audit, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of AI Governance, Model Risk Management, and Data Privacy frameworks.
- Understanding of Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, and Master Data Management (MDM).
