Data Modeler

Location: Remote (Candidates based in Halifax, Canada only)

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Data Modeler with strong expertise in data modelling, SQL, source-to-target analysis, and data profiling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Must-Have Skills

- Solid experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Excellent SQL knowledge with hands-on query development experience.
- Experience performing source-to-target data mapping and analysis.
- Proficiency in data profiling and data quality assessment.

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Azure Databricks and related technologies.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms and data services.
- Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner.

Additional Requirements

- Candidates must be based in Halifax, Canada, despite the role being remote.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineering and business teams.
