Dayforce HRIS Analyst / Functional Consultant
Remote contract | Ontario-based client
We are supporting an organisation looking for an experienced Dayforce specialist to take ownership of system support, configuration improvements and release testing.
This role would suit a robust intermediate or senior consultant who enjoys resolving issues hands-on and helping an internal team get more from Dayforce.
The opportunity
- Remote contract supporting an Ontario-based organisation.
- Initial workload expected to be full-time for approximately three to six months, subject to agreement.
- Potential to move to reduced hours as the system stabilises.
- Start date to be agreed. Please include your earliest availability.
- Province restrictions: Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba
What you will do
- Resolve Dayforce issues, particularly across Payroll and Core HR.
- Make configuration changes and manage testing before moving changes into production.
- Review patches and releases, assess their impact and coordinate required testing.
- Work with HR, payroll and IT stakeholders to prioritise issues.
- Escalate complex problems to external support partners when required.
- Identify practical improvements and automation opportunities.
What we need
- Strong hands-on Dayforce configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Proven knowledge of Payroll and Core HR.
- Experience supporting a live Dayforce environment.
- Confidence managing release testing and explaining system changes to internal stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and recommend improvements.
- Workforce Management, Time and Attendance, Benefits or Talent Management experience would be advantageous.
This is a functional systems role, not a payroll processing or ticket-logging position. We need someone who can investigate, configure, test and resolve issues themselves.
