Lead municipal accounting and financial reporting for the City of Maple Ridge as Deputy Finance Director in a regular full time position. Apply PSAS expertise and strengthen internal financial controls across corporate functions.Reporting to the Director of Finance, this senior leader oversees corporate accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and internal controls. The position prepares annual financial statements and statutory reports while advising departments, senior management, and Council.

Business Administration degree and CPA or CA designationSeven years of progressively responsible accounting experienceThree to five years supervising professional and support staffExperience applying PSAS and coordinating external auditsValid Class 5 British Columbia Driver’s LicenseBring municipal accounting leadership, PSAS knowledge, financial reporting expertise, and sound judgment to the City of Maple Ridge.
