About CWI Lighting

CWI Lighting designs, manufactures, and distributes residential and commercial lighting across North America. Our products are sold through lighting and kitchen & bath showrooms, major online retailers, big-box stores, and design professionals. As we’re growing our presence and brand visibility, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist who can own that work day to day.

The Role

You’ll run CWI Lighting’s digital presence from planning to posting. That includes social media, our Shopify website, and our email marketing. You’ll build the monthly content strategy, create the visuals and copies, and track what’s driving traffic and engagement. You’ll also travel with our team to industry trade shows, where you’ll help represent the brand and capture content.

This role suits someone who enjoys both the creative side and the strategy behind it, and who wants real ownership instead of just executing someone else’s calendar.

What You’ll Do

- Plan and manage a monthly content calendar and strategy across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, and Youtube
- Design graphics, edit photos and short-form video, and write captions and copy for all channels
- Manage and update our Shopify website, including product pages, banners, collections, and promotional content
- Plan, build, and send email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo
- Coordinate with outside agencies and freelancers (photography, design, paid media, and others) by managing briefs, timelines, and deliverables
- Find and pursue brand awareness opportunities, such as influencer and designer collaborations, media features, partnerships, and industry content




- Travel to trade shows in Canada and the US with the CWI team to support the showrooms, represent the brand, and produce event content
- Track performance across social, web, and email, and report monthly on results and recommendations
- Keep visual style and messaging consistent across every channel

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing or social media management
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and other design and multimedia tools (Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, or similar)
- Practical experience using AI tools for content creation, editing, or workflow
- Experience managing business accounts on Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
- Excellent written English, including sharp, on-brand copywriting
- Proven ability to plan and deliver a content calendar on deadline
- Able to travel for trade shows, including occasional overnight trips to the US
- A portfolio or examples of social content, design work, or campaigns you’ve produced (required with application)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo
- Background in lighting, home décor, furniture, interior design, or a related industry is a plus
- Experience marketing to both consumers and trade audiences (designers, showrooms, retailers)
- Trade show or event marketing experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or basic SEO
- Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
