Lead corporate taxation at Maple Leaf Foods through income tax accounting, compliance, and technical leadership across the finance function. Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders.Reporting to the Vice President, Taxation, the Director provides leadership and technical expertise across tax strategies. The position manages income tax accounting, compliance, tax planning, controversy matters, and ad hoc projects. It also develops talent within the tax team.Key Responsibilities:

Lead two direct reports and manage tax team activitiesOversee consolidated income tax provisions and timely deliveryImplement process improvements and efficiency opportunitiesPartner with finance teams on forecasting and reportingManage audits, planning projects, and CRA relationshipsRequirements:

CPA, preferably with a CA backgroundCPA Canada In-depth Tax Course or MTax degreeMinimum 10 years Canadian income tax experienceAt least five years at a public companyExperience managing qualified teams and international tax structuresBring Canadian income tax expertise, leadership, and collaboration to Maple Leaf Foods’ corporate tax function and finance team.
