Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service establishment, whether it be in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.

Duties

- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the dish area.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure that all items are properly organized and stored after cleaning.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Help with basic food handling tasks to support cooks and other kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts.




- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to help others in the kitchen team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the hospitality industry.
