Location:University of Regina, Regina, SK

Employment:Part-Time, Evenings & Weekends The Study Bar & Grill is seeking reliable, professional security personnel to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Applicants must be confident, approachable, and capable of handling difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

- Monitor entrances and verify identification.
- Maintain crowd control during nightclub events and live entertainment.
- Identify and prevent potential conflicts.
- Use effective communication and de-escalation techniques.
- Professionally handle intoxicated, disruptive, or aggressive patrons.
- Enforce establishment policies respectfully.
- Work closely with management and staff to maintain safety.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Requirements

- Valid Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) certificate (mandatory).




- Security training or relevant experience in crowd control and conflict de-escalation.
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Reliable and available for evenings, weekends, and late nights.

Preferred

- Previous bar, nightclub, or event security experience.
- Formal training in non-violent crisis intervention or de-escalation.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Saskatchewan security guard licence, where applicable.
