Full-time EAL Instructor

Experience

· At least 2 years of experience teaching EAL to adults (Required)

· Completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, preferably in Teaching English as an Additional Language, English, or Linguistics

· TESL/TESOL/ESL Certificate recognized by Languages Canada

· PBLA or CLB Certification is an asset

· CLB or PBLA teaching experience is an asset

· Awareness of the CLB system of assessment & current knowledge of teaching methodologies and resources

· Superior communication skills

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Evidence of a transparent Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

· Minimum of two professional references
