Environmental community relations specialists connect Macassa Mine with Partner Communities through explicit communication, cultural understanding, and environmental engagement. This role is based at a Regional office, onsite at least three days weekly.Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, you will support Agnico Eagle’s Environmental Department. You will manage community outreach, explain environmental programs, and address concerns involving permitting, monitoring, closure, and reclamation.

The position requires respectful collaboration with First Nations, government, NGOs, and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

Develop community outreach plans for environmental projects and initiativesServe as the primary contact for environmental inquiriesCommunicate mine activities, monitoring results,



and project updatesIdentify concerns, mediate grievances, and maintain engagement recordsTranslate technical information into culturally appropriate languageRequirements:

Degree in environmental science, management, or related fieldMinimum five years’ relevant professional experienceExperience in crisis communication and conflict resolutionStrong cross-cultural communication, empathy, and active listeningUnderstanding of Indigenous rights and Ontario regulatory frameworksBring environmental expertise, community engagement, and respectful communication to Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine partnerships.
