Welcome to Loshen & Crem, where skin has standards.
If your friends send you photos of their skincare shelves with one word—“Help”—you may feel right at home here.
At Loshen & Crem, we care deeply about skin, education, and the people who trust us with both. We’re looking for an experienced esthetician with thoughtful hands, a curious mind, and a willingness to keep learning.
Someone who listens carefully, enjoys understanding why a product or protocol makes sense, and takes pride in the entire client experience.
Our philosophy
We support long-term skin health through careful assessment, appropriate protocols, consistent home care, and realistic expectations.
Every recommendation should have a purpose. Every client should understand what we’re recommending and why. Knowing when to simplify a routine, adjust a service, or ask for guidance is part of doing this work well.
We love a good serum. We also understand that someone who already owns seven may need a conversation first.
Our team works with carefully selected skincare brands and established protocols. Thoughtful questions and skilled discussion are welcome. Proposed changes to protocols must be discussed with the lead before being introduced into a client’s service.
Experience matters here. So does being open to learning a different approach.
Who you are
- You hold a diploma in esthetics and have at least three years of hands-on experience delivering professional facials.
- You have strong foundations in skin assessment, facial technique, extractions, hygiene, and contraindications.
- You enjoy learning about ingredients and can explain product recommendations clearly.
- You make clients feel comfortable asking questions.
- You confidently recommend suitable products and services while respecting the client’s needs and budget.
- You are comfortable saying, “Let me verify that,” and following through.
- You welcome feedback and apply it to your work.
- You are dependable, organized, and attentive to details.
- You take initiative and contribute to the everyday work that supports the whole team.
Experience with LED, microcurrent, chemical peels, and other facial technologies is relevant. Please describe your training and practical experience in your application. Training: we take our time with this part
Joining Loshen & Crem involves an extended, structured onboarding period before you begin performing hands-on services on clients, including for experienced applicants.
You will spend time learning our brands, products, protocols, consultation approach, and client-care standards.
We carry a substantial skincare collection. Asking for “the white bottle” will probably require a follow-up question.
During onboarding,
you may be required to work on the boutique floor and support customer service. This includes welcoming clients, assisting with product enquiries under guidance, learning our systems, and understanding how we support clients before and after appointments.
These responsibilities help you connect product knowledge with real client needs and become familiar with the Loshen experience.
Progression into hands-on client services depends on completing the required training and demonstrating readiness through assessment. The timeline varies according to your progress and the services involved.
You must be comfortable with this learning period and with boutique-floor and customer-service responsibilities as part of your role. These responsibilities may continue after you begin taking facial appointments.
What you’ll do
- Following training and approval, conduct thorough consultations and deliver personalized facials within our established protocols.
- Explain realistic expectations, aftercare, and appropriate home-care routines.
- Build lasting client relationships through attentive care, thoughtful follow-up, and suitable rebooking recommendations.
- Maintain accurate client notes and communicate concerns promptly.
- Prepare and fully reset your room, care for equipment, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Support clients and colleagues on the boutique floor and in customer service as required.
- Participate actively in brand education, practical training, and team meetings.
- Take initiative with shared responsibilities, including laundry, restocking, and keeping our spaces organized.
We’re still waiting for the self-folding towels to arrive. Until then, everyone helps.
What we offer
- Starting pay of $20 per hour, including during training, boutique-floor work, customer service, and client services.
- Service and retail commission according to our commission structure.
- Ongoing education, practical training, and mentorship.
- Experience with a carefully selected range of professional skincare brands and technologies.
- Staff product discounts.
- Clear expectations, regular feedback, and opportunities to develop your skills.
- A team that values care, communication, curiosity, and accountability.
Compensation reviews consider demonstrated skills, product knowledge,
consistent service and cleanliness standards, teamwork, and readiness for additional responsibilities.
Our interview process
We want to understand how you think, how you work, and how you care for people.
Our process includes
- An introductory conversation.
- An in-person interview.
- A practical assessment of consultation skills, facial technique, hygiene, and room preparation and reset.
We will discuss your availability, compensation, and training expectations openly. The role includes a three-month probationary period with feedback and a review of progress. Training and development continue beyond this period as needed.
