Chop Hop makes fresh salads, bowls, wraps and soups for Toronto's Financial District, plus catering for downtown offices. We're part of The Food Dudes family.

We're seeking a dedicated part-time evening Prep Cook to join our First Canadian Place team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), food preparation, strong food safety knowledge and friendly customer service skills. As a vital team member, you'll prepare meals, engage with guests, assist with kitchen upkeep and prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure effective food service during peak and off-peak hours.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm to 8:30pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Location: First Canadian Place, 100 King St. W., Toronto (on the PATH, near King and St Andrew stations)

Pay: $19.00 per hour plus tips

What you'll do

- Prepare food to our recipes and standards, working with the team to keep service fast
- Help the Head Chef with prep and kitchen organization
- Keep the kitchen clean, including some dishwashing and equipment cleaning
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Track stock and tell the Head Chef what needs ordering
- Follow food safety, health and safety, and FIFO rules

What you need





- Proficient knife skills
- Knowledge of food prep and food safety
- Able to communicate in English with guests and the team
- Available for every shift listed above
- Fast, organized and detail-oriented
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player

Nice to have

- QSR or food service experience
- Ontario Food Handler Certificate
- Experience with combi ovens, grills and Robot Coupe
- POS and customer service experience
