Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Hairstylist & Hair Braiding Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is confident working with different hair textures, understands modern hairstyling techniques and takes pride in delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform professional hairstyling, haircuts, blowouts and styling.
- Provide different braiding techniques, including knotless braids, box braids, cornrows, feed-in braids and other protective styles.
- Perform sew-ins, wig installations and natural hair styling where qualified.
- Work confidently with natural, relaxed, curly, coily and textured hair.
- Provide hair colouring, treatments, deep conditioning and other hair services within your qualifications.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.
- Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain clean workstations and properly care for salon equipment.
- Recommend appropriate haircare and aftercare products.
- Build positive relationships with clients and encourage repeat bookings.
- Contribute to a professional, welcoming and team-oriented salon environment.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional hairstyling or hair braiding experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple hairstyling and braiding techniques.
- Experience working with diverse hair textures, particularly natural and textured hair.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




- Professional portfolio or photographs of previous work.
- Relevant hairstyling education, training or certifications are an asset.

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
