Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to determine health status and needs.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate medication administration.
- Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
- Manage patient care in various settings, including medical offices, hospitals, and home care environments.
- Utilize Cerner for accurate data collection and electronic health record management.
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in family medicine.




- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options.

Skills

- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology.
- Strong data collection skills for effective patient assessment and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus, as the role involves caring for patients of all ages.
- Knowledge of medical office operations and procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to provide acute care in both hospital settings and outpatient environments.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
