Position(s) Family Physician (home-clinic panel + walk-in)

Employment Type Full-time or part-time; flexible, physician-set scheduling

Anticipated Start March 2027

The Opportunity St. Anne's Medical & Walk-in Clinic is a brand-new, purpose-built medical and walk-in clinic opening in the established Old St. Vital neighbourhood of Winnipeg, with patient care beginning March 2027. We are recruiting founding Family Physicians to build longitudinal, panel-based (home clinic) practice alongside our walk-in service.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the scheduling, culture, and patient-care model of a new clinic, backed by dedicated administrative, billing, and IT support — so physicians can focus on medicine, not paperwork.

We are a clinic that focuses on creating a supportive and friendly environment so that the team can enjoy their workday in a friendly atmosphere where they feel welcomed and part of the family.

About The Clinic

- Brand new spacious purpose-built clinic combining a longitudinal family-practice (home clinic) model with walk-in / same-day care
- Electronic medical record (EMR) system: Telus input health
- Dedicated Medical Office Assistant (MOA) support for each physician
- On-site administrative, third-party billing, and IT support
- Physicians set their own clinic hours; participation in walk-in shifts
- Free in office patient parking with direct access from St. Anne's Road

About the Location — Old St. Vital, Winnipeg 156 St. Anne's Road sits in Old St. Vital, one of Winnipeg's most established and family-friendly communities. St. Anne's Road gives patients and staff direct, easy access to the site, with St. Vital Centre, St. Vital Park, schools, and surrounding residential neighborhoods of St. Vital, St. Boniface, and southeast Winnipeg all close by, plus convenient links to the Perimeter Highway for patients coming from outside the city. Manitoba continues to see strong demand for primary care, with many residents currently unattached to a family doctor. A new home clinic in this community is well positioned to build a full patient panel quickly, supported by Manitoba Health's Family Doctor Finder program, which actively connects unattached patients to clinics with capacity.

What We're Looking For For Family Physicians

- CCFP certification (or eligibility) with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM)
- All physicians must hold, or be eligible for, registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM) before beginning practice.
- Interest in building a longitudinal patient panel; comfort with episodic/walk-in care is an asset
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach to care

How to Apply Interested Family Physicians are invited to submit a Resume and brief letter of interest.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We welcome inquiries from physicians at any stage of CPSM registration in advance of the March 2027 opening.
