Description
Cut potato seed, weed cabbage, Cauliflower and potatoes using hoes, thin cabbage/cauliflower by hand, move 4" irrigation pipe and wheel lines through cabbage, cauliflower and potatoes, carry 10lb to 50lb. cabbage sacs/cartons to weigh stations in field, weigh and stack cabbage/cauliflower on pallets, cut cabbage/cauliflower using knives, pick dirt off potato conveyors and harvesters, working up to 13 consecutive days during irrigation and harvest periods sometimes 12 hours per day. Stacking, sorting and palletizing various packs of potatoes. Visually sorting potatoes, working in a team workplace.
Cleaning/sanitizing packing and harvest equipment, record keeping of all food safety SOP's, Monday thru Saturday; average work day 9 to 10hrs per day.
