Job Summary:

Expect Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), preferably Tagalog-speaking, to provide personal care and support for a female client who was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident and sustained a spinal cord injury.

Job Details:

- Location: Barrie, ON, L4N 9V7

- Schedule: Part-time, 30-35 hours per week,6-7 days a week per day 4-5 hours.

- Shift: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

- Start Date: November 11, 2026.

- Language: Tagalog-speaking candidates strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

- Provide bowel and bladder care according to the client's care plan and professional scope of practice.

- Safely operate mechanical lifts for transfers and repositioning.

- Assist with mobility, positioning, and pressure injury prevention.

- Monitor skin integrity and overall well-being.





- Assist with meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support.

- Observe, document, and report changes in the client's condition.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RPN.

- Experience caring for clients with spinal cord injuries.

- Experience with bowel and bladder routines and mechanical lifts.

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).

- Ability to communicate in Tagalog is a strong asset.

- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and professional.

- Availability to provide consistent daily care.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
