Our client, a leading and established Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking a highly qualified Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations for its South African division. This critical role will be based in Kimberley, Northern Cape , and will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in financial management, extensive experience in the FMCG sector, and a proven ability to lead a finance team.

This position requires a strong presence at our Kimberley office.

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.





Ensure compliance with all relevant South African tax laws and financial regulations.

Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.

Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions.

Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Drive process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or controller role.

Extensive experience within the FMCG industry is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African accounting standards.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Strong understanding of internal controls and financial risk management.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kimberley, Northern Cape , for this full-time, on-site role.
