Advise First Nations governments and organizations on legal matters, including governance and treaty issuesSupport negotiations with government and industry stakeholdersDraft agreements, policies, and legal opinions for Indigenous community clientsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with First Nations clientsCollaborate with colleagues across related practice areas (lands, resources, litigation)Qualifications

Called to the Bar in British Columbia, in positive standing5+ years of experience in Indigenous law or a closely related fieldGenuine interest in and sensitivity to working with Indigenous communitiesStrong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skillsWillingness to travel to community meetings as required
