Job Summary The Food Expeditor coordinates orders between the kitchen and service team, helping ensure meals are accurate, prepared in sequence, and delivered promptly. This role supports a smooth dining experience through clear communication, attention to detail, and consistent food safety practices.

Duties

- Review incoming orders, organize tickets by timing and priority, and communicate special requests to kitchen staff.
- Check completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and readiness before coordinating pickup or delivery to the service team.
- Keep colleagues informed about order status, delays, and corrections so they can provide guests with timely updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized expediting area and follow safe food handling and cleaning practices.

Requirements Required: Clear communication, organization, attention to detail, and practical food safety and food handling skills are key for coordinating orders and checking dishes. Preferred: Food service, customer service, kitchen, restaurant, serving, food preparation, cooking, cashiering, or hospitality experience is helpful; familiarity with POS or Micros POS, cash handling, cleaning, meal preparation, guest services, hotel, or barista work is also valued.

Pay: $17.90 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
