Everland Natural Foods is a Canadian organic and natural food manufacturer located in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for full time production staff to join our packaging & manufacturing team. Typical working days/hours are Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Your Role

- Work manually and/or with automated machines to package and box various food products
- Monitoring equipment such as ovens, stoves and/or other cooking devices to ensure they are operating correctly
- Preparing food ingredients by measuring, mixing, stirring, chopping, slicing, dicing, peeling, or otherwise preparing them for use in production
- Marking food products with expiration dates or other labels such as “organic” or “lot# and bb dates.
- Performing sanitation tasks such as cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces using cleaning chemicals or other detergents according to standards
- Maintain facility and personal cleanliness




- Other factory/warehouse duties as required (e.g. preparing pallets for shipments, unloading trucks, checking incoming goods, etc.)

Requirements
- Able to life up to 25-50 lbs bags/boxes consistently
- Friendly outgoing personality respectful, positive attitude, reliable, honest, motivated
- Physically able to work while standing for long periods of time
- Previous production or warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of food production equipment an asset (i.e. mixers, grinders, ovens, packing machines, label machines, etc.)
- Handy man knowledge/experience an asset.

- Good English language proficiency

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
