Chilli N Chopsticks is a halal certified Hakka Chinese & Thai restaurant in Downtown Kitchener (183 King St E). We are looking for a friendly, reliable part time Front of House team member to join our small team.

What you'll do

- Greet guests, seat them and take dine-in, takeout and phone orders
- Process payments on our Toast POS and handle cash accurately
- Serve food and drinks and check in on guests during their meal
- Manage Uber Eats and DoorDash orders and hand them to drivers on time
- Keep the dining area, counter and washrooms clean and organized
- Open or close the front of house, including the cash count

What we're looking for

- Friendly, positive attitude and good communication with guests
- Reliable and on time for every shift




- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment during busy dinner and weekend rushes
- Restaurant, cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
- Available evenings and weekends (Friday and Saturday nights are a must)
- Smart Serve certification is an asset

Hours and pay

- Part-time, 20 to 30 hours per week
- $17.95 per hour
- Flexible schedule posted weekly
