Front Shop Associate / Store Coordinator

Location: Palmerston, ON | Position Type: Full time / Part-Time

We are a dedicated, independent community pharmacy in Palmerston committed to providing warm, personalized healthcare and exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a versatile, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Shop Associate to manage our retail store operations, maintain a welcoming store environment, and assist our daily business tasks.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service & Front Shop Operations

- Greet patients and customers warm-heartedly as they enter the pharmacy.
- Answer incoming phone calls, address general front-shop inquiries, and route pharmacy-related calls appropriately.
- Process retail sales accurately at the point-of-sale (POS) terminal.

2. Inventory, Receiving & Ordering

- Receive, unpack, and verify daily front-shop inventory orders against packing slips.
- Place routine front-shop orders to restock retail merchandise and essential store supplies.
- Ensure products are neatly stocked, organized, and properly price-tagged on retail shelves.

3. Store Merchandising & Decorating

- Design and arrange creative seasonal store displays and window decorations to create an inviting retail experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing front-shop environment.

4. Marketing & Local Engagement

- Support local marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives.




- Assist in updating social media pages with store announcements, seasonal offers, and health awareness content.

5. Administrative & Light Bookkeeping

- Assist with basic daily financial routines (e.g., balancing end-of-day cash registers/reconciliations).
- Organize invoices, receipts, and maintain neat administrative records for the store manager.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Previous retail, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, warm phone presence, and a positive attitude.
- Creativity: A good eye for visual merchandising, decorating, and spatial organization.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy (MS Office/Google Docs) and comfort using social media platforms.
- Organization: High attention to detail, strong time-management, and ability to multitask effectively.
