About the roleYour work will centre on the technology industry, with a particular focus on Canadian startups and venture capital. You’ll cover the companies, founders, investors and policy shifts shaping the innovation economy.

You will also be expected to contribute to The Logic’s coverage of how artificial intelligence is impacting business and society. Your stories will help our readers make sense of how the world is changing, what that change means, and why it matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-impact stories, ranging from breaking news and sharp analysis to longer‑lead investigations and features.

You will pitch, report and write stories on tight deadlines, and chase breaking news as assigned by The Logic's editors. While this is primarily a news reporting job, you may also pitch longer‑term assignments, and partner with colleagues on team projects. This is a full‑time staff job with a salary range of $69,764 to $108,838.
