Job Overview
As a Furniture room sales person you will:
- Welcome customers, ask about their needs, and provide explicit, courteous assistance in English; use bilingual or multilingual communication when helpful.
- Process transactions, and handle cashiering and cash accurately.
- Use basic math, phone etiquette, time management, and organizational skills to support daily tasks and coordinate with colleagues and volunteers.
- (We are a Thrift Store selling used furniture.)
Experience Required: Clear communication, customer service, basic math, and the ability to stay organized while assisting customers and handling sales transactions. Comfort with POS tasks, cashiering, cash handling, and managing time supports accurate, efficient service.
Preferred: Retail sales experience.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
Work Location: In person
