Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized station environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a quick-paced retail setting.

Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or POS systems are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, sales, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Manage fuel pump operations and ensure proper fueling procedures
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, and convenience items to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store area, and restrooms
- Restock shelves and display merchandise attractively to promote sales




- Handle customer inquiries regarding products and services with professionalism
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and change accuracy
- Use phone etiquette when communicating with customers or suppliers

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with POS systems or technology sales can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Bilingual candidates who can communicate effectively in English and another language are highly valued

Pay: $16.40-$17.00 per hour
