Overview The Gas Utility Operator supports safe, reliable utility operations through hands-on equipment, mechanical, and field work. This role combines practical problem-solving with attention to detail and basic calculations. You’ll help keep work organized and operating conditions consistent, contributing to dependable service for customers and effective coordination with colleagues.

Responsibilities

- Perform moderate lifting as needed to handle materials and support field activities.
- Use mechanical knowledge and aptitude to assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Apply basic math to measurements, quantities, and routine operational checks; share relevant updates with the team.

Experience

Preferred: Practical mechanical knowledge, basic math,



and the ability to operate equipment and perform moderate lifting safely are significant for carrying out field duties. Familiarity with SCADA and routine troubleshooting. Preferred: Construction experience and exposure to oil and gas operations are valuable strengths that can help you adapt to utility work and collaborate effectively across field activities.

Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
