This Regional Financial

Analyst serves on the Finance team within the Department of Business, Mining, Trade and Job Creation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position supports Regional Directors and Managers in the Workforce Development and Training Division.

Responsibilities combine budget oversight, program funding administration, financial controls, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities: Interpret and apply financial policies, procedures,



and regulations Administer program funding and review contribution agreements Monitor expenditures against approved authorities and financial information Assist with developing budgets and monitoring cash flows Generate reporting processes supporting effective internal controls Requirements: Experience interpreting financial administration policies and procedures Experience in financial management and ad hoc reporting Solid analytical and problem solving abilities Clear verbal and written financial communication skills Experience with SAP modules or other complex financial systems Bring financial policy knowledge, analytical judgment, and reporting expertise to regional public-service operations in Winnipeg.
