Days Inn Brantford is looking for a reliable, responsible, and customer-service-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent / Night Auditor.

This is a hands-on, multi-tasking position that involves much more than traditional front desk duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service while also assisting with the daily operations and upkeep of the hotel.

Shifts may include daytime or overnight hours, depending on the candidate's availability and the hotel's scheduling needs. Flexibility and dependability are important.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Guest Services

- Welcome guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, and provide friendly, professional service.
- Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts, and complete front desk paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.

Hotel Operations & General Duties

- Clean and maintain the hotel lobby and common areas.
- Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area each morning.
- Replenish supplies and ensure guest areas are clean, presentable, and ready for use.
- Assist with other general hotel duties as required.

Night Audit Duties (For Overnight Shifts)





- Complete nightly audits and balance daily hotel transactions.
- Review reservations, payments, and guest accounts for accuracy.
- Prepare daily reports and complete end-of-day paperwork.
- Monitor the hotel throughout the night and assist guests as needed.
- Ensure the lobby and common areas are maintained and breakfast preparations are completed for the morning.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is an asset.
- Previous overnight or night audit experience is extremely preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently, particularly during overnight shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel reservation and front desk systems.
- Flexible availability for daytime and/or overnight shifts.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
