The Role

We are actively seeking male caregivers and certified Health Care Aides ( females are also welcome to apply) to support individuals in Lethbridge and surrounding communities.

This position focuses on personal care, daily living assistance, and meaningful companionship—specifically serving male clients who require or prefer same-gender support for personal, physical, or cultural reasons. Because our clients often need support attending appointments and running errands in the community, reliable personal transportation is essential.

Key Requirements
- Certification: Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate (or equivalent recognized training)
- Driving: Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Safety & First Aid: Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification
- Screening: Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one prior to start)
- Attributes: Punctual, empathetic, patient, and professionally reliable

Assets & Preferences
- Prior hands-on experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care
- Experience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or specialized post-hospitalization recovery needs
