Immigration Assistant – Canadian Immigration Experience Required

Caneast Immigration Services is hiring an organized, detail-oriented Immigration Assistant with hands-on experience preparing Canadian immigration applications.

Please do not apply if you have no Canadian immigration experience or relevant background. General administrative experience alone is insufficient for this position.

We are looking for someone who has worked on different types of immigration files and can assist our immigration consultants with temporary residence, permanent residence, and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications.

Responsibilities

- Prepare forms and supporting documents for work permits, study permits, visitor visas, extensions, and related applications.
- Assist with Express Entry, permanent residence, and PNP files.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Follow up with clients for missing documents and information.
- Prepare document checklists, routine correspondence, and application letters for consultant review.
- Organize client files, maintain case notes, and track deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients by phone and email.
- Prepare application packages for review and submission under the supervision of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).

Requirements





- Previous hands-on experience preparing Canadian immigration applications, preferably in an immigration consulting or law office.
- Experience working on different application types, including temporary residence and some permanent residence or PNP files.
- Robust attention to detail and accurate form completion.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Familiarity with immigration application portals, Microsoft Office, and PDF editing software.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information carefully.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
