We are looking for local skilled professionals in the Humboldt, Saskatoon, and surrounding areas to join Tremblay Electric at the Aspen SaskPower project site located in Lanigan, SK and our Saskatoon-based projects. Positions available immediately.
Overview
Tremblay Electric is looking for experienced Apprentice Electricians or Journeyman Electricians to work at Aspen SaskPower Station.
-Open to Electrical Apprentices with industrial experience
-Hours of work will generally be 6:30am to 4:30pm
- 10 days on, 4 days off reoccurring
-Overtime after 10hrs per day or 40hrs per week -Must be able to report to either our shop in Humboldt, SK, OR we do have 2 trucks from Saskatoon, SK, heading to site each day
-$140 LOA per day
-Can start as soon as possible
-Drug & Alcohol test is required
-Must have a valid class 5 driver's license and the ability to maintain a clear abstract
-Provide own tools
Responsibilities
- Ability to lead apprentices
- Work as a team member and independently with little supervision
- Work safely in an Industrial setting with the ability to follow procedures and policies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical code specifications
Qualifications
- A valid apprenticeship card
- Provide your own tools and equipment (basic hand tools/steel-toed boots)
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and the ability to maintain a transparent abstract
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Experience in an industrial setting
- Industrial facility safe work qualifications
- Physically capable of performing assigned duties
