About the Role

EH!tel is looking for Installation Technicians to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting residential and business customers through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless, fiber, and structured cabling services.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers in the field. You will be part of a supportive team and play an important role in delivering reliable connectivity to the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

- Install and repair fixed wireless equipment at residential and business locations
- Install fiber cabling for homes and businesses
- Install Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6 cabling for residential and commercial customers
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for fiber and Cat5/Cat6 connections
- Perform indoor Cat5 wiring, router installation, and basic customer network setup
- Configure and support SOHO routers such as Ubiquiti, TP-Link, and Nokia
- Install and support VoIP ATA devices such as Grandstream
- Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues on-site
- Maintain a clean and skilled work environment, including job site clean-up
- Represent EH!tel professionally when working with customers

What You Bring

- Experience with network or telecom installations, or a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong customer service mindset and clear communication skills
- Basic networking knowledge,



including wired and wireless networking
- Comfort working with routers, cabling, and customer premises equipment
- Physically capable of climbing ladders up to 68ft, drilling, pulling cable, and performing hands-on installation work
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Basic understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety practices
- Experience in telecommunications, ISP, or field technician roles is an asset
- Familiarity with fiber optics and VoIP systems is an asset
- Previous experience working in residential or commercial installations is an asset

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
