In this role, you will work with other engineers and scientists to design, adapt, and test core electronic components for cutting-edge low-power AI processors to enable next-generation edge AI applications.Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds in physics, computer science, mathematics, and engineeringDesign and develop integrated circuit blocks from concept to layout for low power AI processorsWork with cross-functional teams to define specifications and architecturePerform circuit simulations, validation and optimizationContribute to the development and maintenance of software modelsConduct design reviews, verification, and documentation throughout the development lifecycleAssist in silicon testing, debugging, and post-silicon validationContribute to crafting reports, drafting patents, preparing technical documentation, and attending conferencesWhat You'll Bring A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical disciplineExperience in analog / mixed-signal IC DesignDemonstrated expertise in transistor-level CMOS circuit design and simulationProficiency with IC EDA tools (e.Familiarity with IC fabrication processesKnowledge of Verilog-A/SPICE modelingAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesCommunication and technical documentation skillsThe following experience is considered a plus:Experience in electrical device and circuit characterization, and/or CMOS chips characterization, and/or device-level parameters analysisExperience in operating test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, source-measure units, and/or parameter analyzersExperience in developing and running scripts for data acquisition and analysis using Python or an equivalent programming languageKnowledge of statistical methods for data analysis and presentationIrréversible is a dynamic startup focused on developing groundbreaking low-power AI processors to enable energy-efficient next-generation AI solutions.
