We're looking for a hands-on iOS Tech Lead - Sr. MTS to drive the technical direction of our iOS listing experience. You'll lead architecture and product delivery, write production code, solve complex engineering challenges, and coach a small team of iOS engineers.
This role combines approximately equal parts hands-on engineering and technical/team leadership. We're looking for someone who brings strong independent judgment, challenges assumptions constructively, and enjoys building products as much as leading engineers.
Help modernize our listing tools through AI, camera, image/video, and other native device capabilities.
Remain hands‑on with Swift development, code reviews, debugging, and technical problem‑solving.
Drive multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing delivery speed, technical quality, and long‑term maintainability.
Mentor and lead iOS engineers, fostering solid engineering practices and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to shape technical direction and deliver impactful customer experiences.
Improve application performance, reliability, testing, and development efficiency.
12+ years of native iOS development experience,
including technical leadership or engineering mentorship.
Experience building and shipping complex, high‑traffic, consumer‑facing iOS applications.
Strong architectural judgment, problem‑solving skills, and experience making technical trade‑offs.
Ability to lead engineers, influence technical decisions, and communicate effectively across teams.
Experience with on‑device AI, camera functionality, or image/video processing.
Automated testing, CI/CD, and mobile experimentation experience.
Shape a major product transformation. We're reimagining the listing experience with AI, native device capabilities, and more intuitive seller workflows. You'll help define and ship these experiences rather than simply maintain an established system.
Own meaningful technical decisions. You'll have significant influence over iOS architecture, engineering practices, and technical direction across the Listing domain. This role offers the prospect to grow and mentor engineers without stepping away from the technical challenges you enjoy solving.
See your work reach customers. You'll have the prospect to connect engineering decisions directly to meaningful customer and business outcomes.
