This Commercial Account Executive role focuses on small and medium-sized customers and typical sales ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. You will guide deals involving proof of concepts, multiple stakeholders, and multifaceted pricing negotiations. Customers may include owners, safety managers, and operational managers across industries such as transportation, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and field services.

The position emphasizes outbound research, pipeline development, and learning how businesses operate. You will own the customer journey through close while supporting Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud and sensor data solutions.

Research companies and contacts to expand the sales pipeline

Conduct strategic outbound prospecting by phone

Manage inbound leads from the account development team

Sell to owners, safety managers, and operational managers

Complete customer engagements from qualification through close

Requirements

At least one year of closing sales experience

Experience with high-volume cold calling

Experience in quick-paced transactional sales

Consistent quota achievement in a sales role

SFDC familiarity and willingness to collaborate

Use commercial selling, customer research, and relationship building to connect physical operations with Samsara’s IoT solutions.
