Lead Montessori Teacher – Toddle Community Room- Class of 10

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking initiative and responsibility, building relationships with children and families, and bringing their own creativity and talents into a classroom. You will take the lead in shaping the daily environment, guiding children's experiences and developing a program that responds to the unique needs and interests of the group.

- Warm, patient and genuinely enjoy working with children aged 18 months to 2.5 years.
- Calm and confident, with a natural ability to guide a classroom and establish a positive presence.

- Strong communicators who value respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Responsible, dependable and able to take initiative.
- Flexible and open-minded, with an appreciation for the individuality of each child and the changing dynamics of a classroom.
- Interested in Montessori philosophy and in creating an environment that encourages independence, curiosity and meaningful learning.

Every year, every classroom and every group of children is different. Our work requires educators who can observe, adapt, problem-solve and bring fresh ideas to the table. We value people who recognize that there is no single formula for working with children and who are willing to learn alongside them. Qualifications & Experience

- RECE designation is an asset.
- Montessori training or experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to meet all Ministry of Education and licensing documentation requirements.




- Current CPR and First Aid certification are required.
- Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- French language skills are an asset.

Don't have formal Montessori training or an ECE credential? We are open to candidates with relevant experience, a genuine interest in early childhood education and the right qualities for our team.
