Lead Salesforce Solution

ArchitectAbout the RoleMcKesson is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to define and drive the Salesforce strategy, architecture, and roadmap supporting our Specialty Health business. This role serves as the technical authority for Salesforce solution`s, partnering with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative healthcare technology solutions. Develop and execute the Salesforce platform strategy and multi-year roadmap for the Specialty Health organization in partnership with Product and business leadership.

Design, architect, and govern enterprise Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce Health Cloud and related platform capabilities. Partner with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Engineering teams, and end users to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Lead architecture reviews and establish standards that ensure performance, security, reliability, compliance, and scalability.

Architect and oversee Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities including patient management, care coordination, scheduling, and healthcare workflows.



Define and implement integration architectures connecting Salesforce with internal applications, third-party platforms, data services, and healthcare systems. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance across delivery teams, architects, and engineering stakeholders.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements that support long-term business and technology objectives. 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, Salesforce architecture, or related technology leadership roles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. Hands-on experience architecting Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.

Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and communicate architectural decisions to executive and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience leading architecture governance, technology standards, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

Salesforce Certified Application

Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA). Knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud best practices and healthcare interoperability concepts.

Experience with AWS, Azure,



or multi-cloud architectures.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and platform observability practices. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and product operating models. Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

In office requirement, we are Flex and Connect with 2 days a week in officeOccasional travel may be required to support business, technology, or leadership meetings. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets.
