Our client, is seeking a Lead SAP S/4 Technical Architect to join their team. As a Lead SAP S/4 Technical Architect, you will be part of the technical delivery organization supporting the SAP S/4HANA Realize/Build workstream. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP S/4 ABAP expertise, proven end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, and the leadership presence to guide technical teams through complex integration and go-live readiness.

Job Title: Lead SAP S/4 Technical Architect

Location : 100% remote, with some travel for Go Live in April 2027 to Montreal, QC

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : June 25th 2027

What's the Job?

- Lead the technical design, development, integration, deployment, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions across the full lifecycle.
- Provide technical oversight for ABAP development, SAP CPI integrations, CALM, BTP, and relevant SAP components including EWM and TM.
- Translate business and functional requirements into practical, maintainable technical solution designs that align with architecture principles.
- Establish and enforce development standards, architecture guidelines, code-quality practices, and documentation requirements.
- Drive technical change governance across enhancements, interfaces, custom developments, releases, upgrades, and migrations; manage risks, dependencies, and performance constraints.

What's Needed?

- Strong SAP S/4 ABAP experience, including CPI, CALM, and BTP experience.
- End-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including technical delivery through realization/build phases.
- Leadership experience: must have led teams in the past and provided technical direction.
- Security and SAP BASIS knowledge to support a stable, well-governed SAP landscape.
- Food industry experience is a nice-to-have.
