We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment.Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to Woodlyns' standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Complete daily preparation and mise en place for assigned stations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service.
- Follow proper food safety, handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.




- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and productive service.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.
- Minimize food waste and maintain awareness of ingredient costs.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and management.
- Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and special events when required.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
