Job Summary

As a Long Haul Truck Driver Class 1, you will transport freight over long distances, supporting reliable deliveries through safe, attentive driving and careful handling of cargo. You will coordinate with colleagues to keep shipments moving and provide customers with dependable delivery service.

Duties

- Operate a commercial vehicle on long-haul routes, following applicable road safety practices and delivery schedules.
- Inspect the truck and freight before, during, and after trips; report concerns and maintain accurate trip and delivery records.
- Load, unload, and secure freight using a forklift or other appropriate equipment when needed.
- Perform basic automotive checks and communicate maintenance needs; use heavy equipment safely when relevant to assigned work.

Experience Required:



Practical commercial driving capability, sound judgment on long-distance routes, attention to vehicle and freight safety, and explicit communication to coordinate deliveries and report issues. These skills support consistent service and careful handling throughout each trip.

Preferred: Experience transporting freight, operating forklifts or heavy equipment, and performing basic automotive repair is advantageous.
