We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor/ Handyman to oversee our maintenance and ensure the efficient operations of our facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems, Fire panel controls, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge. This role requires the ability to manage projects effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all suites and common areas in the building are well maintained.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems as needed.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, Fire panels, logic controllers, and mechanical maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to maintenance work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting issues.
