Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Now, If You Were To Come On Board As a Manager Housekeeping And Laundry , We'd Ask You To Do The Following For Us Supervises, trains and inspects the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed to unit's standards. Maintain responsibility and accountability for Personnel Management Functions of the department.

Personnel

Management includes recent associate interviews, selection, hiring, evaluation and on occasion termination in accordance with Compass Standards, Client Contract and applicable Union Collective Agreement. Coordinate and support all relevant activities of the housekeeping department with a special emphasis on Infection Control and Occupational Health & Safety. Follows appropriate policies, procedures, job routines to meet the needs of the site.

Document call offs and replace for any shift and coordinate assigned staff breaks. Complete daily & weekly payroll requirements Communicate additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift. Maintain accurate record of such assignments and ensure security of keys.

Check all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems.



Assist staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service and conduct staff training as assigned. Do you have what it takes to be one of our Manager Housekeeping and laundry ?

At least two (2) years of Housekeeping Supervisory experience. Working knowledge of all housekeeping procedures and laundry management with a strong emphasis on Infection Control, Standard Precautions and Health & Safety. Excellent administrative and organizational skills and an ability to prioritize Excellent computer skills.
