Job Summary The Mechanic shop helper supports mechanics with day-to-day shop tasks, helps keep tools and work areas organized, and assists with vehicle service activities. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys practical work, follows directions carefully, and contributes to a safe, orderly shop.

Duties

- Prepare work areas and gather hand tools and power tools for mechanic tasks.
- Assist mechanics with routine service and repair work, following instructions and handling tools carefully.
- Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Help move parts and supplies and return tools after tasks are complete.
- On occasion, you will be responsible for picking up parts from various venders

Requirements

Required:



A valid drivers license. Practical mechanical knowledge and the ability to handle hand tools and power tools carefully are important for assisting with shop tasks. Attention to detail, willingness to follow directions, and care in maintaining an orderly work area support safe, dependable work. Preferred: Related shop or mechanical experience and familiarity with common tools can help you contribute confidently and support mechanics across a range of routine tasks.

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
