Forover 15 years, BBA’s Labrador City office has delivered multidisciplinaryengineering services to the region’s mining industry, supported by experts fromacross Canada.AsOffice Director, you’ll build on BBA’s long-standing relationships with clientswhile leading the continued growth of our presence in Labrador West. Workingclosely with the St. John’s office director, you’ll guide office operations,develop the local team and drive business development across the region.Leveragingyour leadership, network and industry knowledge, you’ll help expand BBA’sfootprint in both the mining and metals sectors and emerging renewable energymarkets, supported by significant investment in the region.

You’ll alsochampion the diversification of our services by growing environmental, watermanagement and earth sciences capabilities while strengthening relationshipswith local communities, Indigenous partners and regional stakeholders.Thisis an opportunity to lead a talented, multidisciplinary team, contribute to the region’s sustainable development and play a key role in shaping BBA’s futuregrowth in Newfoundland and Labrador.You’llreport to the Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Operations, and oversee dailyoffice operations while contributing to the firm’s strategic objectives and long-term success.With us, you’ll get the opportunity to…

Lead regional business development activities with mining and energy clientsContinue to expand on BBA’s long standing partnerships with local mining clientsDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities in the regionPrepare annual office budgets,

University degree in engineering or diploma in a relevant program of studyAt least 10 years of relevant experience, notably within a consulting engineering firmExperience and interest in business developmentIn-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering within the mining industryExperience in engaging and managing multidisciplinary work teamsExcellent soft skills and collaborative management skillsExperience in organizational developmentFluent in English, both written and spokenAsset: knowledge of the mining and metals marketAsset: knowledge of the energy marketAsset: significant network of contacts in the regionAn overview of BBA’s total rewards
