MyHomeworkRewards is a growing education technology company helping Ontario students succeed through personalized online tutoring. We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable STEM tutors to support Grade 9–12 and college/university students.

The role

You will provide one-on-one or small-group online tutoring sessions, helping students understand difficult concepts, identify learning gaps, and build confidence in their academic abilities.

What you'll do

- Deliver personalized online tutoring sessions across STEM subjects.
- Identify students' learning gaps and develop - strategies to improve understanding.
- Explain complex topics using digital whiteboards and interactive tools.
- Help students prepare for assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create practice exercises and study materials.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

Who you are

- Patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching.
- A clear communicator who can explain concepts in different ways.
- Comfortable working with teenagers and supporting different learning styles.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Motivated to help students improve their confidence and academic performance.

What you will bring

- A completed or ongoing bachelor's degree (at least 2 years) in math,



science, engineering, or education.
- 1–5+ years of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Zoom, Google Meet, and digital teaching tools.
- Reliable internet, webcam, headset, and a quiet workspace.
- Must reside in Canada and be eligible to work as an independent contractor.
- Willingness to provide references and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Engagement terms

- Type: Independent contractor.
- Hours: Up to 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
- Pay: $20–$50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Commitment: Minimum of one school term.
