The Cancer Care

Program of NL Health Services has a provincial mandate to deliver cancer care to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. John's, with regional cancer centres providing systemic therapy in Corner Brook, Gander, and Grand Falls. NL Health Services is currently seeking one (1) Radiation Oncologist to join the clinical team at the Dr.

Our Oncologists participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and work closely with colleagues within the provincial cancer care program.

The Cancer Care

Program is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. Medical

Degree (MD) and FRCPC in Radiation Oncology (or equivalent) Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador ( ) Must satisfy credentialing requirements of NL Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services at the Dr. Collaborate closely with medical physicists, nurses, and other health professionals Contribute to quality assurance and site‑based peer review processes Participate in teaching, scholarly activities, and clinical trials Support person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador, commensurate with level of training and experience.
