About the role

WoW Services runs Edmonton Daily Deals, a local platform that helps Edmonton trade companies — plumbers, HVAC, cleaners, snow removal, and more — fill their quiet weekday hours with paying homeowners. We're looking for a friendly, confident phone person to make short introductory calls to local trade businesses using a script we provide.

You are not selling or closing anything on the call. Your only goal is to ask two quick questions, get permission to email the owner a 2-minute video, and book a 60-second follow-up call. Then you log the outcome and move on to the next call.

What you'll do

- Call Edmonton-area trade businesses from a provided list during weekday business hours
- Follow a short script (about 60 seconds per call)
- Capture the owner's direct email and book a brief follow-up call
- Log every call's outcome — booked, not interested, gatekeeper, voicemail, no answer — plus any email and callback time you captured
- Flag any hot leads to the owner right away The setup
- Fully remote. You need a quiet place to call from, your own computer or smartphone, and a reliable internet connection
- All calls are made through our business phone app (we set it up for you at no cost, with your own login) — every call is automatically logged,



recorded, and transcribed for quality and training purposes
- The manager reviews calls with you in your first weeks for coaching, so you'll get feedback and get better fast

Hours

- Part-time: 8 hours per week, scheduled in weekday morning and early-afternoon blocks

Productivity standard

- Minimum 100 call attempts per week, each one logged with its outcome (a realistic pace is 120–150 dials in 8 hours)
- Booked callbacks are tracked alongside your dial count and reviewed together, so a tough list never counts against you personally

Pay

- $18.15/hour

You're a valuable fit if you

- Sound natural and confident on the phone — not like you're reading
- Have clear, friendly spoken English
- Are reliable: you make the calls when you say you will
- Can take a polite "no" and move on without missing a beat
- Know Edmonton and its neighbourhoods (an asset, not a requirement)
